I do have a paper sketchbook to. But I have to admit that I don't draw to much in it. Not sure why but I prefer to work in photoshop. Think it have to do with the ease of correcting mistakes. Then again, it sure is comfortable, sitting in my best chair, with my feet's on the table and draw. To day I spent a few hours scanning, about two hundred Magic Cards I've had for many years. One of these cards was a card named. Crypt Creeper - which I tried my best to draw.Watching these two over each other. It's not hard to pick up errors. Something I wish I was able to see when drawing it. But I guess that's what practice are for, All said and done, I'm quite happy with the end result.The

Looking at the work done so far. I'm the first to say that learning to draw is going to be harder then I expected. But I'm having a blast learning. I'm also getting to know some really interesting and great artists in the ConceptArt.org and CGPainting.com community's.

I found the art community ConceptArt.org Through that forum I came across some videos created by Massive Black on one perspective drawing. After buying, downloading the CD's and watching the instructions. I did my best to set up a correct environment for one perspective drawing. This is how that look. Iv yet to use it for anything. I was finally able to afford a shining new Wacom tablet. After quite some time researching, my decision fell down on the Wacom Intuos3 A4 size (12" by 9"). I was going to participate in a Workshop over at CGPainting.com with the topic "Wet Leaf". Tho I never finished it. Most of the reasons for not finishing, was because I had started giving up on painting with the mouse. It gave me such pain to my arm and wrist. My second image was still made with Gimp and a mouse. This little image was done from imagination. Painting with a mouse was hard, and I secretly imagined that if I only had a tablet. I would draw so much better (talk about deluding your self)

This was made back in mid October 2008. I had just seen some YouTube videos by Nico Di Matte that inspired me to download Gimp and try painting. I had no tablet so I was working with my mouse.
